Webhook messages to user and/or self
How about a way to set up a webhook that allows the target to be a specific user via direct message? Specifically to your own user?
Gaming example use: A guild uses a combat log MMORPG website, which in turn uses the webhook API to send URLs to Discord - but now you could also target those webhook requests to yourself, such as a guild administrator that wants to review every automated message without using a bespoke channel in their server.

I personally feel a bit uneasy about this. I can definitely understand the idea and how this one could be used, however it would have to be done carefully and I'd strongly prefer this to be restricted to sending Webhook DM's just to yourself and never to another user to help reduce the abuse potential. -2 -

This would be really handy for my workflow - I am a content creator, and all my client communication goes through Discord. I would love to be able to automate sending messages and embeds directly to users.
To ensure safe, and unwanted spam, the best would be is if you could create a webhook from the user themselves, that way they need to accept the automation before it is enabled.
I've been trying find a way through this but it seems like it's currently not an option! What a shame.

I would really enjoy this for getting notifications when my servers go down and similar :)

this would be nice for group chats as well, especially for webhooks that you would like a small group of people to see, without having to create a server for it
