Request: Advanced file search options
I have this idea, discord should be able to search up files by their extensions, size, and maybe strings of hex characters inside them. I'm on a Source Engine modding community and it's hard to find map files people have posted .bsp or sometimes .zip. And I thought it would be easy to search a file by it's extension. Also a specified file size, less than, greater than, etc. And if the file i'm looking for is inside a .zip file, there should be an Advanced option to search up headers in the hex, for example: a string of hex characters I found in a .bsp file was "OüÿÿNüÿÿ$þÏÿ" and "VBSP" (which was at the beginning). Advanced users like me would really like this option I bet. Having these would be a dream come true.

While this capability "sort-of" exists currently, it is a bit limited because you can only search for generic categories. I'd be interested in seeing this upgrade. 1 -
Yes Please, we exclusively use Discord in the Fallout 4 modding community to collaborate and share content. It's near impossible to find previously posted content with out a ton of guess and check currently. Would love to see some improved upload handling, grouping, previews, extension filtering, string search including wildcards.
