Samsung DeX Support?

I would like to suggest possible DeX support, and/or update Discord for browser on mobile? There is a scrolling bug on browser on mobile with the guild and channel list. This isn't a big deal or a high priority thing, it's just something I'd love to see sometime in the future. I love Discord, keep up the good work developers.

Anyways, I recently got a DeX and I want to start using it when I don't have access to a normal desktop. I'm a moderator on a few Discord guilds and wanted to use my DeX to become more efficient with it. I've noticed though, a few issues. 

1. It doesn't behave at all like the desktop client (wasn't expected to be honest). For example, I still have to click and hold instead of right clicking on a mesage.

2. When in fullscreen mode on the Discord client, when I click and hold on a message to select options with it, it only shows the text and no buttons such as copy or delete. They could still be there, but I can't scroll in the pop-up window. When I resize the window to about the same aspect ratio as my phone, it all shows properly

2. Browser, as I said has that scrolling issue, which I don't know how to fix, other than it seems to be a mobile thing.

    Hey man I second this, DeX is really amazing and i'd love to see it working within DeX with things like external mic support

    Hi,
    I agree desktop mode is much underestimated.

    Please add support for desktop mode in the app (with android 10 they should have implemented a framework?).

    On my side I'm using Huawei EMUI but it's very similar as Dex station.

    By the way do you know Keydock by oreason.io? It's a docking station for docking smartphones.

    Hi,

    I share your opinion.

    I tested it yesterday (Nov 2020) and it was working in general, but it would be nice, if it is fully supported.

    Entering some voice channels and pressing the mute / unmute button isn't implemented in the best way.

    Maybe they have to r3eplace the popups appearing by a fix area on the larger screen then on mobile.

    Started using DeX instead of PC and it would be really nice having the desktop experience with discord on dex as well.
    Also please add support from screen share when using dex. It still only captures screen of the phone.

    I have a suggestion! I use Dex on my Note 10+ and Galaxy Tab S6. It works great, on both!

    1. Install the latest Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge (Firefox didn't support VC for me)

    2. Set the browser to desktop mode and log in at Discord.GG

    3. Set preferences and enjoy a crude emulation of Discord for PC on your Samsung Dex device!

    I have question with Samsung DeX 

    So about a month back, a tornado took out a ton of our spectrum infrastructure here in rural southern Ohio. Lame. We were told it would take months to fix. So here I am finding a super practical solution for Dex... I can plug my phone into my PC and have an internet capable PC, even when we have no actual internet service here.

    That being said, I have to use teathering to play video games.. but the social side of PC gaming, Discord, works great when accessing it via internet browser. Same as the PC application.. but I have one, hugely annoying problem..

    Every time I try to join a voice channel or a call in general, the input and output automatically switches from my wireless headset to my phones earpiece and mic.. I use Smart Things and the headset option just poofs.. but when I leave the call, and click play on Hulu for instance.. The headset is miraculously back in action.

    If I could figure out how to get Discord calls to route through my headset.. it would be perfect. As I am an admin on a video game server and need to answer tickets by joining voice calls and watching people share their screen.

    I love Dex and have become a super fan and supporter of the entire thing.. and read through posts in thie subreddit often..

    Please help me, you techno-Dex-amigos.. <3

    Well: NOTHING HAS CHANGED.  THIS THREAD IS OVER 5 YEARS OLD AND IT'S WORSE NOW THAN IT WAS WHEN DEX WAS NEWER THAN DISCORD.
