Don't give users nausea on opening the app
Got redirected here from Testers regarding this issue: autoplaying video ads cause nausea and can't be turned off or reduced in motion or reduced to click to play, which is a pretty clear violation of WCAG Criterion 2.3.3 (https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG21/Understanding/animation-from-interactions). Another user who has this issue: https://www.reddit.com/r/discordapp/comments/aqnt9q/auto_play_discord_video_adds_give_me_motion/ (I would actually argue that it's pretty clearly a bug, since as WCAG states, "The impact of animation on people with vestibular disorders can be quite severe. Triggered reactions include nausea, migraine headaches, and potentially needing bed rest to recover." If making your users feel like they're going to vomit when they launch your app doesn't count as I bug, I'm not sure what does. But, I was told to report it here, so here I am.)

Hear, hear. I reflexively quit the app on seeing this the first few times. Now I just immediately click one of my subscribed channels and never even look at the announcements and such.
