Feature Request - Call End Info Message
Hello!
I have a feature request based on something I remember existing in Skype. Right now when you start a voice or video call in Discord in a DM or group chat, a message automatically shows up in the chat that says "[Username] started a call" with the date and timestamp.
However, when everyone disconnects from the call (aka the call ends), there is no accompanying automatic end message. I believe Skype had one that said "Call disconnected" or "Call ended" along with a timestamp and the total length of the call.
I liked being able to see how long I'd spent talking with people, or if I wasn't online during a group chat call, how long the call had been that I missed. It was also really helpful because it allowed you to see at a glance what messages had been sent during the call (because they were between the automated start and end messages). It strikes me as a little weird that there's no end message in Discord because having just the call started message it makes it look like the calls are perpetual.
I think adding an automatic timestamped message when a call ends helps make a chat easier to navigate. I would certainly appreciate its existence!
Thank you very much for your consideration.

Nice! Sometimes we don't notice this before ending the call, so it would be nice to see how long it lasted for a few seconds afterwards. 0 -
I use discord for work.
call end times are really important to keep track of how long you spent in a call with someone.

Same. With the whole home-office situation I tend to use Discord more than any other voice-chatting service. I don't see the point of showing "X started a call that lasted an hour" instead of simply showing the actual time in the first place, other than maybe making it look more casual which goes with the whole gamer theme I guess.

I'd really appreciate a way to get the exact call duration/length with timestamps too.
