Reverting, or finding a middle ground on the new small images in mobile
First I'd like to say; I understand that maybe the reason the image size was changed on mobile is to better help the app run more smoothly or to help in some other way so it wouldn't need to load such big pictures but they're too small. A few people have commented about it on twitter and reddit and because you can only see those if you're looking at the right time it feels a bit unfair to have the twitter help account say to write about the problem here because there's a good chance not a lot of people are going to do that, thus the problem doesn't look as bad in numbers, but anyways.
Can we find some middle ground on the image size? I think most people would be happy just going back to the old format of having the pictures display as they used to. But if that's not possible, and the change is for the better of the app can we at least upscale the current size they're at by...I'm not sure maybe round abouts 30%? My friends and I frequent mobile a lot during the day and night because of work, or being done with work so late that we just go to bed but we usually chat throughout the day, the only real time we get to use desktop is during the weekends so now it feels like anytime on discord kinda just isn't fun. We usually have gif wars or use gifs as reactions and now we can barely see any text (in pictures as well) that a gif might have in it and we end up having to click into the picture just to be able to see what it is, and if you're working just glancing at your phone that's not something we really have time for. It also just really brings down the quality of the gifs and just makes it honestly feel pointless.
Sorry for the long post but this new update really seems to just make the mobile experience just less fun and pointless at this point if pictures and gifs are something you use a lot during the day.

Oh also, I apologize if this was posted before, I saw someone mention it for iOS but not for just everyone in general, but they did have a good point about the black boarder behind it feeling like it needed to be removed.

I completely agree with this, making the images smaller seems like such an odd choice

Either they need to make a revert change to this update or come up with a solution for everyone. Either way im all for a revert change on the images and gifs being way too small

Better compatibility with the browser version (no download/in-browser) for all browsers currently in use would be the more likely approach to eliminating issues / increasing features on any platform while minimizing coding needed. Right now, on the Xbox (Xbox Edge Browser), the in-browser client fails to load the website properly. This causes the website to just spin the loading icon forever... Wished this would get fixed. UWP would the BEST way to include it on Xbox - While we are talking about compatibility and inclusion to Discord across platforms.
