Have an additional CLI client/make an API to allow for users to make one

I'm honestly a pretty geeky person who wants to easily switch between guilds (I am in 100). Using the normal client, this process feels bloated. A Vim-like CLI for power users with split screen support would be a really cool addition. If this is not possible, a API to allow for interfacing with the Discord client so a third party CLI would be made would be equally awesome!
