Discord Nitro Boost via Apple Subscription

So, upgraded to nitro today, was excited to use the boost on my podcast server...

Go to the desktop version to boost and there's a warning  saying:

"We don't currently support upgrades to Nitro for subscriptions though Apple. You can cancel your subscription through Apple's Subscription Management, but the subscription will remain active until its expiration date."

Why is this not advertised or at the least cautioned before you purchase this via Apple Subscriptions??? Literally the reason was to boost my channel before we recorded this week and now I have to wait a month till the subscription ends??? WTF is this ass backwards way of utilizing Nitro??? Why even offer it via iPhone if you cant even utilize all of it's features??? Right?...
