Channels and Roles Permissions Features.
So a server owner sets up a server to their liking, they get a bunch of users in and all is well.
Suddenly you see a need for a new text or voice channel.
You want to apply identical permissions on the new channel that many of your other channels already have.
You realize you have to manually set the permissions for every role in your server for that new channel, one by one, one setting at a time, when you already have a template of the permissions you would want for every role. Very tedious and unnecessary.
There needs to be a way to apply the permissions for every pertinent role to the new channel based on the permissions of an existing channel.
It would be as simple as having a guided setup of the channel:
"Would you like to set up this new channel based on existing role and channel permissions?" -> Yes/No
if Yes:
"What roles would you like to setup permissions for on this new channel?" -> Checkbox list of all roles appears. You check what you want or 'Select All' and click "Next".
"What channel would you like to copy permissions for the selected roles from?" -> Dropdown list or Radio Box List of existing channels (matched to the type of channel being created: Text or Voice)
Confirmation dialog: "Are you sure you want to copy role permissions for [Roles Selected] from the channel [Channel selected] ?" Yes/No.
If yes, everything for the selected roles in the selected channel for permissions is copied to the new channel and you're done.
Greatly reduces click count and ensures consistency of role permissions across channels.
I have no idea why this isn't a primary feature. Should have been in from Day 1.
Your competitors have you so badly beat in this regard, it's not even funny.

You do realize there's a permission sync feature, right? Just edit the category's default permissions and you're ready to go. They only de-sync if you manually edit a specific channel's permissions, so any new channels will be created under the default ruleset of the category.
