Discord refuses to open upon startup

I have somewhat been able to resolve this problem by going to task manager and killing discords main app(https://gyazo.com/09f835beb3687c1c32159dbe729426b1) and then it launches but its a pain to do it over and over again every time i power on my computer or close discord and wana open it again
This started happening ever since the new update a couple of days ago happened

    I have this exact same issue as well. I shockingly haven't had this issue before and I have been using it since the summer of 2016. Same as you it also started when the new discord update came out.

    Have you gone to Task Manager - Startup - and checked if its disabled/enabled?

    Yeah for me the startup launch is on and it gets up first time no issue. For me, when I go to close discord temporarily after a bit, and then want to go back on it never comes up. I always have to TM it just to have it reboot and fully open. In the meantime, I've just been using the discord web app since that actually works.
