App Is Buggy

Today, I noticed something really odd about the behavior of the Discord app on Windows 10. I usually Alt+Tab between Destiny 2 and Discord and there's always no problem. Tonight, however, I noticed that when I close the Discord app, it will not come back up when I click on the icon from the Start Menu. I was curious as to what was happening so I opened the Task Manager and I see several instances of Discord open. I close them one by one and retry to open it again. Then it opens up as if I just opened it the first time - with the Checking Updates logo and all. I thought that this was an odd occurrence. I tried duplicating it and it would do the same thing over and over again. 

Can you please check what's going on with the app?
