Custom Status

I want to set my status to "Don't clear," but every time I do and I hit save, it immediately changes back to "Clear after: Today." I used to use browser (which I thought was the reason why), but I downloaded the app and I still can't do anything. Is there any way to fix this, or is this just a bug?
