Proposal of whisper function in a large number of people channel

I would like to propose a new feature for chatting in a channel with a huge number of people.

Muting function for people in the middle of a conversation. A person should, during a conversation, click on the icon of one interlocutor and offer this function, only if it does not distract much (with some kind of sound or a small icon). After that, everyone will be muffled for them except for those who took advantage of the offer of this function, and those who were not invited will hear those quietly too.
