Muting @everyone and @here as a setting option
Right now I can only go to a server and disable @everyone and @here for each one of them individually. It was OK in the beginning, but now I have over 30 servers and growing, and every time I have to go into it (which isn't a one click process) and becomes boring.
Ideally the app would present a setting regarding default @everyone and @here behaviors with 3 options: Server default, allow, or mute.
- Server default follows admins' criteria as currently, if they have it disabled nobody will get pinged, if they have it enabled people get pinged.
- Mute makes all new servers be muted by default.
- Allow makes all new servers send pings, even if the admins have disabled them (don't know if it's actually possible since the communication may be cut at the server). This option would be super interesting to re-enable pings only for myself when admins decide it's obnoxious to use them, but you still want to get notified.
These 3 options would replace the current enforced option (similar to server default). For those of us that don't want pings from literally every server we come across, it would make the user experience many times better since we would no longer need to mute a server as soon as we get in, nor get bugged by admin decisions of how users can interact with each other.
To put it into perspective, not having this option is comparable to having to set my username manually every time I join a discord server because it assumes my default name is Anonymous123456.

A possible option could be setting your status to "Do Not Disturb", but then all user messages will be muted too. Also, if you'll return - all these messages from servers will be there. So, guess this option will anyway be nice.
