Feedback on the Desktop App Installer (9/11/2020)

So for some reason, the latest update deleted my desktop icon for Discord. Not a huge issue, I thought, until trying to search my computer for discord left me high and dry. (I now know I should have been searching AppData instead of Program files.)

So I figured I'd download the installer again and just look for wherever it wanted to install. Nope! The moment I clicked on the exe, everything reinstalled with zero input from me and no option to even cancel it, let alone to see what was going where. Fortunately, all of my settings were preserved. Still though, this is pretty bad design.

...Or did it only do that because it detected that I already had the app installed? I'd rather play it safe and point it out than say nothing for fear of being wrong.

    that same thing happened to me and it wont let me reinstall discord.
