Ghost mode in voice chat for admins

well i think you guys can make something like stealth mode in voice chats for admins like if i have admin perm and i join a voice chat people wont be able to see me if my stealth mode is active but i still be able to hear them that would be really helpful for voice chat management

    It would be a good feature but what stops you from spying on people with this feature :/

    Owen is right, you could just sit in and listen on people’s conversations which is creepy.

    yeah but what if they are talking bad about my moderation team or me or any user like what if they are breaking my server's rules i cant know that if they are doing in voice chat so this feature will be really helpful for moderators

    they are probably not gonna break any rules while im in voice chat cause they can see me i think we need this feature

    Exactly. If someone is breaking the rules than let others report it and take whatever consequences you have set forth into action. And if you say you can’t believe the person reporting because there is no proof than what does it really matter ? And unless they are saying or doing something inappropriate it’s important to remember people have options and they are allowed to voice them. I disagree with this idea as I think it would be abused more than it would help moderate.

    The author of this idea has good intentions, but others would abuse it too often for it to used for good.

    I agree but people could feel anxious because somebody is listening but still, I think discord partners will do it for good of people.

    maybe they can make a option for us to create a channel that doesent allow ghost mode like nsfw btw what kind of abuse could happen i really dont understand that like it's a public voice chat everyone can join idk if someone wants to talk special they can talk in dm

    I'm on about all servers, not just partnered servers, but what would be the point of having this as a feature as it means nobody would want to use Voice chat in fear of being spied on.
