Account Notification Settings should Override Server Settings

I would like to set up "Notification Settings" to always default to "Only @mentions" whenever I join any server.

I do not want to join a server and have my notifications set to "All messages" because on larger servers, I end up getting spammed. 

Yes, I know I can set the server settings but this really should be a default from a user account perspective.
