Forcing Spoilers on messages: Moderator / Admin Ability
After doing some research, the other suggestions made by users are outdated by nearly 1-2 years apiece. Therefore, I'd like to re-state this idea to get more traction, attention, and support on behalf of the user base, so that the developers take a more drastic step to implementation of this.
It's not a secret that some servers are used for a variety of things, but it would be nice that, for the sake of things that deserve spoiler tagging, or that may contain sensitive content, that Moderators, Administrators, and Owners of servers have control over what content is being shared. Especially NSFW material / content, especially in the case of artistic material as well.
The ability itself would be no different than what is already there. Users can already possess the option to select material being shared, or comments, as marked spoilers. However, for Mods / Admins / Owners, simply have it so that they can right click the message, and just like having the ability to delete a message, have an option present for "Spoiler this message."
There has been more times than I can count where I would have liked to simply spoiler a message instead of listening to the bickering and crying of a deleted message from community members in various servers I am a part of. This adds additional control for Mods / Admins / Owners to police their servers with a fair more freedom to suppress or hide things, rather than outright deleting them, and dealing with blowbacks afterward.
Least to say, Mods / Admins / Owner's say should be the final word, but, as we all know, some people fail to recognize a "No" or "Stop" when it is issued.
Thank you for your time.

I understand that this was a duplicate post of a similar topic, but as I stated in the original opening line, there are simply too many years apart between the original idea being presented, and I believe there was one even older than that one.
The point about having multiple posts about the same idea is that Discord staff and dev team actually take notice that this is an issue that is worth addressing, and less about "the popular vote." This feature would be simple, at best, and give more control over content that is being shared and posted on servers, especially larger-populated ones that have way too many members. More changes are being added to Discord in the last year, and this should be one of the additions. I personally moderate / administrate for a server where a lot of content like memes and whatnot gets pushed out almost bi-hourly. It would be nice to have a feature that would allow to spoiler certain things that are a 'bit much,' so-to-speak. Instead, a lot of the staff simply have to delete these things, thus dealing with the communal blowback of "You didn't have to delete that!!111!!! WAH!!11!"
Again, I understand it's a duplicate idea, with many more words attached to it, and it's possibly repetitive to people who live on this forum, but I don't like that a method to help mod/admins of servers should come down to a popular vote. It was the only reason why I re-presented it.2
