Guild Cap should be raised for Nitro Subscribers

Discord has grown over the past 5 years immensely. The people that really want to support discord will get Discord Nitro. I've actively used Discord and been a nitro subscriber for many months and I have not complaints other than one thing.

It becomes very stressful to manage how many guilds an account is associated with.

A cap on the number of guilds a member can have membership with is something that makes sense, but I feel as though the cap should be raised for people who are willing to pay for discord.

Currently all discord users can only join 100 servers. some people love emotes, some people love lurking, some people have old memories they don't want to lose.

Nitro subscribers should have a raised amount of servers they can join. and if they lose nitro? They can't join new servers until they're back under the non-nitro amount(100)

 

ie.

non nitro sub can join 100 servers

nitro sub can join 200 servers

nitro sub joins 200 servers and discontinues nitro subscription, they can not join a new server until they leave 101 servers (to be at 99) and then invites would work.

 

I think it would be a great quality of life improvement for nitro subscribers and increase the loyalty statistic for people willing to get nitro. We'll see longer subscriptions for users, and happier nitro subscribers.

    Although this may be a "good" suggestion, I cannot agree to this from a business pov. Discordapp ever since it's creation has placed UX on top. They've sacrificed many areas to keep the servers afloat, every server we create it's a performance hit for them and they've to keep upgrading and upgrading to keep our platform afloat. Discordapp would require a bigger budget to increase the guild limitations.
