Option to Configure Default Channel View

It would be helpful to have an option to choose which channel we want to be brought to when we visit servers after having opened Discord:

• last visited channel
• first channel
• specific channel
• (other options)

Personally, I currently make sure to visit the first channel in every server, and then visit the friends tab (the Discord system conversation on mobile), before closing Discord. This way, I can always keep it organized for myself and know that when I open Discord the next time, I will not find myself opening a server and automatically marking the last visited channel as read when navigating to a different channel. This happens frequently on mobile and is quite annoying. If I had the option that I am suggesting in this thread, I would have wanted to set it so that when I visit a server after opening Discord the next time, I will land at the top of the server (these are usually our guidelines channels, or other read-only channels for our communities) instead of at the last visited server channel.

A standard Discord (welcome) screen (when we open Discord without visiting a server) is something else I would love to be able to configure. I currently use the friends tab on PC, which is very handy, but since this was removed from the mobile client, it is more inconvenient having to relay on the Discord system message to avoid automatically marking the last visited private conversation as read when opening Discord.
