Having a gallery mode where one could view the photos/files in the specific channel one is at. Would probably work best if it could be filtered by filetype. Using the arrow keys to navigate. 

EDIT:
I should probably mention that the images expand in accordance to width or height of the monitor. That or stretch to fit.

  yes! a gallery mode that can be opened in a sidebar (similar to how the search results bar appears). at the moment looking through a channel's worth of images is just painful!

  and as stated above, having arrow or wasd navigation once images are opened up would be the perfect solution along with the gallery mode to completely fix image browsing on discord.
