image saving location
when saving image previews,file explorer opens towards downloads
the user should be able to choose where the default saving location is so the folder doesn't open, also there should be another option to choose to open file explorer every time saving an image preview

+1 this needs to be implemented as discord is the easiest way to send stuff from my phone to computer: I use it very often but am slowed down at the fact that my C drive (with OS on it) has 2 GB of space left and i no longer use it for storage. I would like to default my D drive download folder

Why does Discord even override the OS settings for saving files? It's obnoxious that Discord opens Downloads instead of Pictures when you right-click -> Save Image. "Pictures" is the proper folder for images, and more than that, Discord should be obeying OS settings, like "remember last save location".

Thread #2... How is this still a thing?! Discord is the only application I'm having this issue with currently. It is a real pain having to navigate each time to the folder I use every time.
I have tried so many workarounds, nothing works. The creating a shortcut in the downloads folder works, until that folder fills up enough.Please for the love of BOB, fix this, add the "feature".

I agree completely, this should have three options:
1. Save to default location (in this case “Downloads”)2. a checkbox to use last location for anything (toggle on/off, so it remembers the option)
3. Save by type (aka .txt, .png, .mp4, .avi, etc) to last location
