Turning Screen share/cams off

I have really bad internet at times, and it's not really fun jumping into a call with friends when they're all either screen sharing or sitting with their cams on. My connection goes to red immediately, I don't really want to order my friends to turn it off either so I just end up leaving the call. What would be really handy is if there was a way to mute their screen sharing/cams.
