Overlay not working on external monitor

Hi,

I have a Windows 10 gaming laptop with an Nvidia RTX 2070 (Max-Q). The overlay is not working when I play full screen games on an external monitor.

I already tried lots of tricks without success: disable g-sync, disable the internal monitor, change main display, reinstall discord and change resolution.

If I unplug the 2nd monitor and play only on the laptop internal monitor it works again so it seems the issue the support of external monitors. The external monitor has a higher resolution (2560*1440) than the laptop monitor (full HD). The 2 main games I try to enable overlay are Sea of Thieves and Red Dead Redemption 2.

Is there something I can do to have overlay on external monitor?
