Way to leave "server video call" without leaving voice channel

When you're watching someone in your discord server stream their game via go live and they stop, apparently it becomes a "video call" according to someone in support who responded to the ticket I logged.

That is fine but it provides no way to leave said "video call" to get rid of everyone's blank screens taking up the window or the annoying mini window without disconnecting from the voice channel.

Apparently this is by design but I can't find the logic in it, it seems more like a bug, can this please be fixed?
