Screen Share a region of screen

I use a 4K screen, and often I don't want to share the whole 4K resoluition screen because the resolution is poor and often other people don't have one.

You do have the share a window feature, but it is often buggy. For example, it really doesn't really work well with Unity.

However, a alternative to that which would really nicely, is if I could select a region of my 4K screen and use that as a "canvas" for my sharing.

Now that would be great !!!

    Yes, that's a great idea! 
    For me my issue is different but having the ability to only share/stream a region of your screen can be useful.


    For example, if you have a slow internet connection and that the only important elements that you want to share don't take the whole screen/application, having such a feature can be great!

    To bypass my issue I usually take screenshots but I don't think if it's a great solution compared to directly streaming the region that I want to share.
