Real dose of facts because all lives matter

I think there's a common miscommunication going on between people who use the phrase "Black lives matter" (notice I used lower case letters because Black Lives Matter in capital letters is a political organization linked to the Democratic party) and the people who use the phrase "all lives matter."

I've heard people who use the phrase Black lives matter assert the following: "No lives matter until Black lives matter." The rhetoric here clearly explains the feeling that the rest of the world does not care about Black lives at all. If you are under the impression that the entire world is against you, you feel backed into a corner. It's a horrible feeling. As an aside, I'd recommend looking up the mental health definition of persecutory.

I've also heard people who use the phrase Black lives matter say that "just because you say Black lives matter does not mean other lives don't." I personally find this approach to be much more reasonable. If you follow the logic here, it's like saying we don't celebrate Mother's Day on Father's Day because Father's Day is a special day reserved for that - for fathers. Likewise, we don't celebrate Father's Day on Mother's Day because it's a special day reserved for mothers. This is pretty much common sense to a lot of people, but ever since common sense went out the window, we have to explain it again. That said, what's common sense to us may not be that way to other people, and being able to respect other viewpoints is a valid criticism. We can't expect people to listen to us if we're not willing to listen to them. It's fine to have differing viewpoints. We're more likely to want to understand one another if we don't come at each other with hatred and hostility.

I've heard people who use the phrase all lives matter say that "It's just true. All lives do matter, not just some lives." I personally agree with this. I do not feel that it is the intent of the people who say all lives matter is to diminish, minimize, or cast aside any other race or racial problems. I personally feel that the phrase all lives matter is a defense against just such a diminishment. It's like saying... "Yes I understand you're trying to stand up for yourself and that's awesome, but don't stand on top of me just so that other people can see you better. Don't forget that the rest of the world has issues too, not just you."

And this is where it becomes tricky because human beings are finite. We can only do so many things at once. What should be put at the center of attention? That's political. But politics only works if you act within the boundaries of the law. Once you start looting and pillaging and rioting and descending into lawlessness, you become a criminal.

Victimhood is never an excuse for abuse.

Just because someone may have wronged you does not give you the right to wrong other people. If you do that it just creates a cycle of violence and hatred. The problem is when people start feeling like... "Oh ok then but I'm going to get mine out of my system someone else can end it." In that scenario no one is ending it because it just keeps going around in a circle. You will never solve hate with more hate. That kind of thing only leads to death.

Let's honestly try to understand one another by taking the time to explain our viewpoints. That's a constructive way to be proactive about it.

Cornerstone instead of spouting useless equivocations just look at the facts. FACT is every other race has more reason to be angry and feel threatened with violence then blacks do.

That is what that chart is telling you. The difference is every other race is not threatening everyone else even though they have MORE reason to be worried than Blacks do.

This is when someone now chimes in and states facts are racist. The truth is the truth and the truth is people like you and those spouting this BLM crap are trying to deny the truth and instead use violence and obfuscation to push a totalitarian ideology.

I am open to anyone's viewpoint as long as it is based in facts and truth, until the truth is acknowledged of the real violence and hatred there can be no discourse and BLM is making sure we can never have such a discussion.

We are now at the point where standing by and watching the BLM movement and it's cultists destroy property and violently assault innocent people is a manifest evil and must be fought as such. We can no longer afford to allow them to continue with the killing and destruction. Any further passivity only invites more and worse hate and violence from them.

I think you need to practice reading comprehension before suggesting that someone supports BLM. And if we are talking about facts then why don't we talk about the fact that BLM is an extremist Marxist group with an anti-establishment agenda and extreme communist values at its core disguised as a social justice movement, and why Discord supports that?
