The new page theme
Today I clicked on that Google Chrome shortcut to the Discord page, and I got hyped pretty hard after I saw in the first second the "new" word in the link. But, tbh, My hype couldn't last long...
And before I proceed, I'm going to give a disclaimer, that this is my opinion, and I won't give a damn about one or 2 "people" that harass me regarding my opinion. I had unfortunate events, that I made feedback to another site with my opinion, and I got comments with harassment in them, saying stuff like I shouldn't have the right to post, or something like that.
So, where was I? Oh yes!
The page loaded up, and I found it too... colorful, and had that white theme the app has, but almost nobody uses it. There were also the 5 pretty characters, but they seemed like too much for me. I use Discord for 2 years, and I got more than used with Wumpus, our mascot and the only character in Discord, which every old Discord user loves it.
Then I compared the site theme, with the app. Well, the logon screen theme fits very well with the page theme, but not with the app. The only aspect the app seems pretty much with the page is with the light mode, but I don't think that light mode is a good choice for your eyes. Then I used a site I found on the internet in which insert the Discord URL and select a date, and it shows how did the site look like at that time. When I saw the difference, I was like "Yea, it looked better, before the update", because it had that nice, old, fancy dark theme, with a very little color in it. I also like the school reference during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Now, that I said, what I had to say, here are my suggestions.
- One of them is that it would be better if you switch the light, with the dark that Discord always had.
- The Frog should've been named Peppe, not that uhh... pink bonnie, I guess... yea, I think that's a pink bonnie because I'm a big meme boi and it triggers my OCD when I see that pink bonnie stealing the frog's ultimate name.

Indeed, I also wanted the pink bunny as my pfp but every time I searched up peppe all I found was the frog, I do feel like the pink bunny should have another name so its easier to find.
