Discord Additions Store
BetterDiscord and its similar client editors are popular among users because of what they can bring to the client. Different themes and plugins can make the user more comfortable on Discord.
Sure, there is a security risk when using these third-party extensions, but this can be resolved if there is a place where the plugins go to be reviewed before being available to the user. Many sites that host bot invitations links require the bot(s) to be reviewed before they are published onto their site. This can adapted to lint through the code and find any malicious snippets.
The themes that are provided by default are nice, but other competitors allow for UI changes and modifications, so why are you falling behind on it? If it's because of a security risk, the themes can be placed under a peer-review or new themes can be published with changeable settings/colors.
Customization is something that a lot of sites use and have maintained well. Many users use third-party clients to make their Discord experience better but are at fear of getting their accounts banned/suspended. Meet them at the middle and create a safe place for these users to use official plugins or themes.
