Issues with new DM Streaming(AKA: The Screenshare break)

I'm super, SUPER frustrated with this update. It feels cumbersome and uncomfortable, and I'm getting a surprising amount of silence from Discord, both on twitter and in support(I've usually gotten some pretty hasty replies, and helpful as well). But this update has really thrown a wrench in my daily routine.

Usually, around 6, my wife and I will get in a discord call and watch youtube together, maybe play some games together, but generally use the living hell out of the screenshare function. It's wonderful, better than both Skype and Kast, and allows for a lot of customization. There was a single update some months ago that added the function of sharing single screens, and while it made the menu selection a bit longer, it wasn't in the way at all.

The latest update, however, and sorry for a lack of better words, sucks. It causes myriad issues across the entire platform. The menu is ugly and cramped, doesn't allow for easy selection as before. It makes the process of attempting to share quite annoying. And...well, impossible in my own case. When attempting to share my whole screen instead of a small window, the audio gets bottlenecked and sounds like we're BOTH speaking in a TUBE. Completely ruins the sound sharing that I do for her, and makes the program almost unusable. Even worse, our privacy is getting completely butchered; people are joining our discord calls WITHOUT PERMISSION. This is SERIOUSLY unacceptable. Actually, literally unacceptable. I want to like discord, but this function makes me furious. I have Nitro for the better sharing access, but now there's no reason to keep my subscription up other than a bunch of pointless emojis from my servers.

The ONLY. ONLY upside this has is allowing for video sharing and webcam at the same time. This is pleasant, but I would NEVER give up the ability to share easily for this.

Very upset. Gonna be posting this to the support forums next as well. Really disappointed with Discord with this update. I'm a fan of change and upgrading platforms, but this has thrown a wrench into my night. Hope to see this fixed, or better yet, reverted.
