(BUG) Discord Crashes/Reloads on Youtube Link Being Opened in Chrome From Desktop App

I'm on PTB and I just wanted to post about this just in case this makes it over to live. I recently updated PTB and now whenever I open a youtube link externally from a server, Discord crashes and immediately reloads. https://youtu.be/K20qr6SYm04 Video for example.

    Hey,

    I am having the same issue. I have already messaged the support team about this, and they told me they'll forward the message to their team. They also advised me to post in Feedback about it, so I thought I'd add my experience to your post instead of making a new one.

    For me, this bug happens on the PTB version on the Windows Discord client. Sadly, I haven't been able to check the Canary client yet.

    This bug is also not limited to YouTube links. A friend and I have tested this with YouTube links, BBC links, links to our personal websites, GitHub links, etc.

    Another thing to trigger a reload of the client is by clicking “Search with Google” on a highlighted string in a message. I'm sure anything that opens Chrome (maybe even other browsers) causes that bug.

    Lastly, this only happens when Discord has to open Chrome. If the browser is already running, a new tab will open without reloading the client. However, if the browser is not running and you open a link for the client, the bug occurs.

    I'm getting the same thing on PTB and it's not limited to just one website. Also, it happens for me even if browser is already open (I use Brave, a chromium). It's an issue with almost any links... hope they fix this soon.

    I can reproduce this issue using wowhead.com (which makes liberal use of YouTube embeds) on both Chrome and Edge.  The issue takes a few minutes to occur the first time, but becomes more frequent until the web page crashes and the browser throws an error (but stays open) and Discord crashes completely as soon as you open the web page.  This looks to me like a memory issue; I can kill both app domains and start over and the issue goes back to its initial behavior wherein it takes a few minutes, becoming gradually more frequent.
