Random messages being copied to my clipboard?

Been noticing some really strange bugs on Android 10: spell check seems to work everywhere else except for the Discord app, and now it's randomly copying messages to my clipboard. I think it's every time I see a tweet or an embedded message. Drives me absolutely crazy.

    I'm the exact same. If I swipe over an embedded tweet, even for a few moments, the tweet gets copied to my clipboard. If I hold down my finger on a tweet it's the exact same. What use is this feature?

    So, this might be paranoia talking, but some websites have a habit of "copying what's on your clipboard" and saving it. This seems weirdly related. It'd make sense too, like if they wanted to monitor a server for NSFW stuff so every time you see something that gets copied and sent to them.

    No it's definitely discord mobile. You see a little notice pop on screen saying "message copied to clipboard" whenever you so much as move your finger over an embedded message.
