Discord's responsiveness when navigating many servers/channels/dms

I've noticed Discord starts to rapidly become less and less responsive the more servers you navigate, and you can also see this affect your mouse cursor as you use your computer in general. The mouse will often skip/get stuck and closing and reopening Discord will instantly fix it. It can also be observed that Discord is very, very responsive when it first opens and if you only click between a few channels/servers, loading them basically instantly, but once you get through a few it will become very sticky. It seems like Discord is using too many resources.
