Kids under 13 should have discord but with restrictions
Kids should be able to have discord with restrictions such as no cursing, no inappropriate images, etc.
Reasons why this should happen:
1. You can expand the community to younger audiences but also keep it civil and appropriate
2. Kids all around the world can know more about each other and make friends
3. It makes discord a better place for everyone
Please respond if you consider making this a thing

Yeah but discord can making something like roblox where it can allow younger audiences to use its platform but also making it safe with restrictions

Discord is Primarily used by users that are 13+ but there's a majorly large adult community on Discord. There's also a massive peadophilia problem that with the current report/message system cannot be enforced. Introducing a new market of impressionable under 13 users to the site would not help this at all. Also the reason Roblox allows Under 13 users is because they're not allowed the collect data of these users meaning tracking down and stopping peadophiles, hackers and rule breakers is virtually impossible if they have their age set low. This would mean that discord would most likely have to implement am age verification system, which would drive away many current and new users that are hesitant to spread personal information online. Basically it would be a massive hassle, nightmare and not worth it overall for discord and for the community. There's plenty of Alternative chat websites that have under 13 users that are plagued with peadophiles and I doubt discord would want that image on their already not so clean record.
