To start with, I've tried to search the feedback category and didn't find anything active about the topic I'm speaking about that was made less than 12 months ago.
I would like to suggest for a role/permission immunity system to be added to the VoIP software.
TeamSpeak has had a complex version of "Moderator has mute power of 50 and below" "Administrator has mute resistance of 75 and below" and in this situation the Moderator could not touch (or play pranks) on the Admin.
Implementing this in Discord could be as simple as restricting the mute power as per role hierarchy - roles below should still be muteable, but roles above shouldn't be touchable.
As for equal roles - I suppose that either could or could not be muted.
And as for "Administrator" permission & the server owner - these guys could just straight ignore any kind of server mutes/deafens.
The above also should also apply to being able to be disconnected from the voice channels.
So in short, junior mods should not have the power to fiddle with senior mods, and these in turn shouldn't be able to touch admins or the owner. It's not a matter of trust, rather a matter of server security.
