Sound cutting out in chat channels on app.
When I open the app and join a chat channel, I hear my friends for about 1-3 minutes (sometimes even less) before they cut out completely. Sometimes before cutting out completely they even have a delay where their name lights up. Once it lights off, then I hear their voice.
I updated my drivers and PC, but that didn't work.
I watched a youtube video and confirmed I can hear sound fine there, then opened discord on browser and was able to stay in there and hear them with no problem/no cutting out, so the problem appears to strictly be on the app.
Nothing seems off with my settings.
I tried to uninstall and reinstall but keep getting a 'discord did not uninstall cleanly' message. It doesn't seem to do anything to help either.
Any ideas on how to fix this? It's becoming a big issue not being able to hear people I play with.

Noticed I've also been having this issue for about 4 days now.
My drivers are all up to date and sound works fine through all other programs, even the browser version of discord works fine; seems to only be on the actual discord application.
One thing I did notice is that if I open up the voice and sound settings while on voice, no one starts to cut out anymore however if I don't do this then I get the issue of voice chat cutting out after a minute or so.

Sorry for necro.
2 months have passed and this issue is persisting. At this point it's quite the inconvenience. I've realized it seems to be an issue with Discord handling push to talk. For some reason voice chat will work fine if my mic is set to voice activity but if I use PTT then voice chat will inevitably go silent after 30sec or so. The only work around for voice chat to work whilst using PTT has been to open up the voice and sound settings whilst in voice chat as mentioned in my last reply or to watch someone screen sharing.
