Discord won't transfer ownership from a banned user to an admin in server

A server i am in had it's owner banned from discord and the admins of the server requested for ownership to be transferred since 30 days past and the server is over 100 members but discord support refused which is unacceptable. If the staff was to leave even by accident they wouldn't be able to get their admin role back!
