Camera Flip feature
In the past days, I've been video calling with my friend, and whenever he sends a screenshot of some moments in vc, I noticed that my preview my camera is supposedly in "mirror mode" but for my friend it is not? My preview and what I project is not the same? It's not a big deal but I would like to have a "flip camera" feature? plus maybe make the preview and output the same. It's really annoying. :)

As a video person who also does still photography, I'm quite happy that canon is moving to flip screens and am hoping that the 5dmark3 gets one. Why are they so awesome? *1) you can flip the LCD in to protect it when not in use *2) better angles (obviously) *3) if are nervous or don't want it, you can lock it in flush
Instead of seeing excitement, I read a lot of redditors saying they think they'll break it and it looks cheap/unprofessional. My two responses are that, first, I know a lot of videographers (not wedding either, but like in dangerous situations) who use video cameras with flipout lcds and I can't remember the last one that broke. So many other parts would wear out before then. Second , in the video world, so many pro cameras have flip out, I don't get the soccer parent stigma.
