Improve Video Calls with a sidebar text channel

Sometimes in group Video Calls I like to send text messages, but when I do, the Grid/Focus window minimize into a little window, so it's not possible to watch everyone in the video call while texting, I know there's a pop up option, but I would like to send text messages on Full Screen too, and it gets a little bit annoying not being able to text.

It will be cool to have a feature that activates a sidebar text channel while you are on a group video call.
