5000 ms in Discord

I've been occasionally getting 5000 ms when mousing over Voice Connected, which lasts for 20-30 seconds before going back down. This has been happening for a few days and I really don't know what could be causing it. Tried changing DNS, port forwarding, resetting things, everything.

    Happens if u suddenly disconnect network and plug it back in after some time

    prevention: check ur region :)

    I have the same issue since a couple days. My internet is confirmes to work juste fine.
    400mbit internet very stable for everything else.

    -i tried 2 different discord servers
    -5 different regions in both servers.
    -tried disabling upnp
    -tried changing dns

    When i ping the discord server I am currently getting 5000ms on, It returns 15-25ms at most for a 10min straight ping.

    I also have wyzecam wich stopped working at the same time as this issue occured.
    I play rocket league and the game disconnects front the servers if Im on discord at the samr time.

    The only fix I found so far (wich makes no sense) is doing a live traceroute on the discord server I am currently getting 5000ms on, if I do that i stop lagginf immediatly for the rest of the time I am connected.... Not sure how...

    Im about to start testing on another machine kind of lost here...

    My isp is videotron, quebec, canada
    400 mbit / 50mbit

    Speedtest return max speed on wired rig.
