Enforcing bitrate for streams/screenshare
Would be a nice feature to be able to configure bitrate for Discord streams/screenshare. I'm not sure why something like this hasn't been implemented before, considering that we can already configure frame rate and resolution of such things. It's annoying to be trying to stream a game to some friends only to have it be reduced to a blurry mess at seemingly random intervals, I've got Internet that is more than good enough to stream at those resolutions, considering I have done so before on both Twitch and Youtube, and the group of friends I stream to also have better Internet than I do.
I've been having this issue for a while, on two separate PCs, with reasonable hardware, and experience the same issue when those same friends stream. This isn't really a post asking for help, since I know at this point there's nothing I can really do about it, I've gone through all the Discord settings and have done some rather extensive testing about this, it's not a hardware accelerated issue or software issue, it's not a case of needing to update drivers or anything (since they're all up to date anyway), it's just a discord issue, that happens no matter the content that's streamed, whether it's trying to share Youtube videos with friends, or going live with a game (again, I've tested multiple games and had the same issue).
Being able to force or cap bitrate would be a nice feature to have, considering that I'm paying for Nitro, being able to stream at 1080/60 is nice, but if every 5 minutes it goes pixelated, and having to force the people watching to come out of the stream and go back in to fix the issue, then what's the point?
All in all, it would be great if there was any sort of feedback, or at the very least some acknowledgement that something similar is coming in the pipeline, would be nice.
