Half of the people posting here probably have no idea from cryptocurrency‘s, I can see that because you automatically think that with using Ethereum you also use NFT‘s, only because they are hosted on the ethereum Blockchain. Yes, right now ETH is not at all good for the environment but in the next months there will be Ethereum 2 which will literally cut down the power consumption by a lot. Ethereum is doing everything to go green and it’s also the most secure and overall the best blockchain system on the whole world right now. I think that you are thinking way too big but in my opinion it won’t even really be used because it’s way easier to pay monthly with PayPal for example. I understand your concerns but I think 70% of y’all just read some horror stories from people and now you wanna hop on the hype train

    'Next months' is carrying a lot of weight there. Until there is an ACTUAL improvement, the 'but it gets better!' is just moving the goalpost to keep it 'temporary'
