Discord can have their NFTs, but not my business

It's one or the other, but I won't be purchasing another Nitro subscription unless they are willing to hear the voices of their concerned userbase. It's lucky some of us are even still using their application at all with this news. If they're hellbent on involving themselves with NFTs, something most everyone nowadays (never mind an enormous company with plentiful staff) has ample opportunity to educate themselves on (most notably the glaring cons) then it shows where their best interest lies. Not in their user's voices, not in the planet we share as home, but for the sake of financial greed and clout... and I want no part of that. 

I know this decision falls primarily on Discord's CEO rather than the staff themselves, but I do hope Discord's employees pass on our concerns to the executive(s) and this consideration is overturned before it's too late.
