Really disappointed in Firefox's version
Hi,
I've been using Discord for around 4 or 5 years, being an IT guy and discovering the native app and browser app were mostly the same.
I felt it was the future, as I believe every app could, in a few years, work in the browser.
For multiple reasons, the main ones being my windows arrangement and my use of browser, I use Discord on browser.
For ethic reasons, I do not use Chrome, I use Firefox.
It's at least the second time Discord on Firefox became unsuable, for multiple days :
- I go to a group chat on my server, and I don't hear some people
- Or, they don't hear me
- Sometimes it works, and then it suddenly doesn't.
And for each of those times, I'm forced to setup the native app on my computer, and launch it in parallel to connect to tchat ; then it works with no problem.
As this might seem a minimal problem, it pains me to do that, the native app is not capable to resize to 900 pixels, which the app-in-browser is capable of, and it doesn't suit my use. Moreover, the web-app is here, and should be usable for anyone.
This is the second time it happens, in like 1 or 2 year. I have no idea how long it will take to resolve, as I don't even see any news for this error, while it matters a lot and kind of renders the firefox version of webpage useless.
I'm on Firefox v94.0.1, Windows 11.
Yes my browser can access to my microphone and webcam, it worked perfectly well a few days ago.
I'm an IT engineer, and have observed this behavior at multiple occasions.
Please, do care for firefox bugs as multiple users access Discord through this browser.
Thank you for your attention.
