Long messages break IOS

This has been an issue that's been going on for months now; But essentially whenever I write a long paragraph the app stops working properly. I would type it out and I can't send the message (adding emojis works fine). Then, i'll try to back out of the message (click on a different DM or channel), but I get stuck on the "sliding" API issue. Like i'll try to slide over to check my DMs but it keeps sliding back and forth. At that point I have no choice but to close the app and re-open it. But the problem with that is when I re-open it, I lose the last like 9 lines of my message. Only the top half of the message was saved in the chat bubble thingy. Would be very nice if this could get fixed as I have Nitro and I can't even use the "longer messages" feature unless I get on my PC.
