Volume of call participants

I've already made a post about this issue, but it's just way too annoying. Every time someone turns on their camera the volume slider just does not work it's infuriating. Everyone's just so loud and I have no way of changing it. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Is there anything I can do to fix it?
