How to get Discord party mode enabled AFTER the anniversary

So, after some trial and error for getting the discord party mode features back on the regular client- i've found a couple of methods that COULD work depending on network issues.
First, the classic "set time to the anniversary date" may not work.. but using Cheat Engine to change certain values WILL. I tried this right after the day the update left- and it seemed to work. This could be an intentional glitch- but who knows.
