New "Text Chat In Voice" feature has no overlay

The whole reason that our server uses a "no mic chat" is so that we can see what they say on the overlay in game. With the new Text Chat in Voice channels, you cannot see what anyone is saying without having the discord screen open.

In addition, there are no options to hide the participants window and favor only the chat, or vice versa.

There aren't any notification settings for the chat channel, either.

There should be many more options for this before you launch it. Otherwise, it has no purpose, on our server at least. I know I would never use it cause I would have to always have a second monitor for Discord. I guess I can see how this would work if you are only using video and not playing games (Who does that in Discord?)

I already hate how clicking on a voice channel just connects you without another prompt. I would rather click on it, to see chat first, then click another button to connect to voice. The solution to this would be like my other suggestion... Just add voice to Text channels!

I think this was poorly implemented, in addition, how it's being enabled for everyone. Now I have a mess of permissions to fix, just simply to 'lock' the chat channel, so people to use it.
