Stay on camera when switching apps/locking

I'm a beta user, and I'm downgrading back to stable because I severely dislike the iOS merge changes. Most specifically, when I switch apps, it now turns off my camera. It's done this for my friends with iPhones for a while, and it's annoyed them too. I would like to be able to play a game while on call without it being broadcast to the server that I'm off-app. As a 6-year user, if this change hits stable, I don't know what I'll do.
