Adding Notifications to the Voice/Text Channels

So this idea is basically that just like a normal text channel gets the grey notification icon for new messages [not pings] and then red numeric identifiers for pings within a specific given text channel; I think it would be effective to add the same function/feature to voice channels where new text messages are posted; to include adding the ability to right click and mark as read; etc all functions and features a normal text channel has should be available to use on these text&voice channels.
